Maintain an overview

We all know the stigmatizing stories of the Brothers Grimm and all the old wives’ tales that taught us to be afraid of the big bad wolf and the forest at night. But shouldn’t we as beings in an enlightened, rationally thinking society that moves into the digital world rather worry about the environment and how to deal with it? Does the wolf belong to the woods or not? Do we need this big predator?

In our seminars, lectures or panel discussions we would like to discuss exactly these questions and further topics, we would like to show you what the wolf takes from the ecosystem, but what it gives back in return.

How wolves changed the river

The wolf as an eternal student

Each of us knows the classic saying you never stop learning – it is the same with wolves, knowledge is passed on, the thirst for knowledge and learning lasts a lifetime until death.

We can use this behavior for what we want to achieve – the wolf should and must be protected. Perhaps he also needs to be protected from himself. In this seminar you will learn various anecdotes about wolf observations from Yellowstone National Park and other preservation areas, learn how to come to terms with wolves and discover how wolves actually live and that the image of the alpha is completely wrong.

Experience wolfish-dog behavior and even see it in person with the help of our wolfdog girls.

The problematic wolf

The problematic wolf

What actually makes a wolf a problematic wolf? Is there a common definition of what a real problematic wolf is … or are these just subjective decisions?

In fact, it is possible that pubescent male young wolves act out of a crazy situation and absolutely against their nature and thereby lose any fear of humans or, for example, cars and thus can actually become a danger for others and themselves.

What are the consequences of this pubescent and – for the animal probably even – funny behavior for the young wolf? To date, it has been shot down or, as one might call it glossed over: it will be removed.
